La Unitat de Cribratge de C\u00e0ncer de l’Institut Catal\u00e0 d’Oncologia (ICO) \u00e9s una de les 97 institucions que participen en una nova Joint Action impulsada i finan\u00e7ada per la Uni\u00f3 Europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sota el nom EUCanScreen, aquest projecte d\u2019\u00e0mbit europeu t\u00e9 com a objectiu garantir la implementaci\u00f3 sostenible d’un cribratge d’alta qualitat de diversos tipus de c\u00e0ncer. En aquesta ocasi\u00f3, l’ICO no nom\u00e9s actua com a autoritat component, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s l\u00edder del grup de treball 7 i co-l\u00edder d’altres dues tasques, entre altres funcions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En l’EUCanScreen participen un total de 97 institucions de 29 pa\u00efsos diferents. La durada del projecte \u00e9s de quatre anys i est\u00e0 dotat de m\u00e9s de 38,5 milions d’euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El pr\u00f2xim 19 de juny tindr\u00e0 lloc el Kick-Off meeting virtual de la Joint Action i a finals de setembre el presencial a Riga (Letonia).
