This is one of the main European scientific meetings in the field of tobacco prevention and control, which has brought together professionals and researchers from all over Europe to share recent evidence and experiences in public health. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contributions of the Tobacco Control Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En aquest context, l\u2019equip de la UCT ha presentat un total de <strong>cinc comunicacions orals i quatre p\u00f2sters cient\u00edfics<\/strong>. Les seves contribucions han abordat temes com l\u2019exposici\u00f3 al fum del tabac en espais privats amb pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019infants, les iniciatives per promoure llars sense fum, els determinants socials associats a la cessaci\u00f3 tab\u00e0quica a Europa i la interfer\u00e8ncia de la ind\u00fastria del tabac en les pol\u00edtiques p\u00fabliques. Tamb\u00e9 es va donar a con\u00e8ixer la feina que lidera l\u2019ICO dins de la <a href=\"https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/en\/ja-safe\/\">Joint Action SAFE<\/a>, aix\u00ed com altres estudis en curs a la unitat, presentats en format p\u00f2ster.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new edition of the <em><strong>Tobacco Control Scale (TCS 2025)<\/strong><\/em> was also presented during the congress, which analyses the degree of implementation of tobacco control policies in European countries. The ICO UCT has contributed to the preparation of this report and has been responsible for the design of the <a href=\"https:\/\/tobaccocontrolscale.org\/\">new TCS website<\/a> , aimed at facilitating access to data and comparison between countries. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in the ECToH has also served to strengthen networking, with meetings with members of the <strong>Joint Action SAFE<\/strong> \u2014which the unit has recently joined\u2014 and with other teams with whom it shares international research projects.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presence of the UCT at the congress has contributed to giving visibility to its research activity and strengthening collaborations, in a key space for moving towards more effective tobacco control policies and improving the health of the population.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div\n\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\"wp-block-uagb-image-gallery uagb-block-32ed854b
