{"id":16524,"date":"2026-08-12T12:37:54","date_gmt":"2026-08-12T10:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/uct-provides-training-in-implementation-science-at-the-school-of-public-health-in-mexico\/"},"modified":"2026-08-12T12:40:16","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T10:40:16","slug":"uct-provides-training-in-implementation-science-at-the-school-of-public-health-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/en\/uct-provides-training-in-implementation-science-at-the-school-of-public-health-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"UCT Delivers Implementation Science Training at Mexico\u2019s School of Public Health"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. <strong>Cristina Martinez <\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Olena Tigova <\/strong>researchers at the Tobacco Control Unit (TCU) of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), once again took part as lecturers in the course Introduction to Implementation Science, organised by the <strong>School of Public Health of Mexico<\/strong> as part of its <a href=\"https:\/\/educacioncontinua.espm.mx\/paspe\/\">Public Health and Epidemiology Continuing Education Programme (PASPE).<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the second consecutive year, both researchers have been members of the teaching team for this course, which is aimed at professionals and researchers interested in effectively applying evidence-based interventions in clinical practice and public health. Implementation Science focuses on understanding how to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and its application in real-world settings.
