Dr.Filippidis<\/strong>\u00a0is a Lecturer in Public Health at Imperial College London. He has a background in medicine, health promotion, epidemiology and public health. His current research is focused on the epidemiology of tobacco and e-cigarette use, and on tobacco control policies in European countries. He has also studied the effects of the recent economic crisis on health, lifestyle risk factors including smoking and health services.He is a member of the Tobacco Control Committee of the European Respiratory Society and has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers, most of which on tobacco control.
