The Dissertation comprises five original papers in leading journals. The Dissertation comprehensively addresses the topic of passive exposure to the aerosols of electronic cigarettes with European data, from the current state of the legislation and the prevalence of such exposure to experimental findings using environmental and biological markers of the impact of the aerosols upon bystanders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/06\/e2f52913-8191-43ad-a1d7-807025fd9ec0-edited.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7525\" width=\"318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/06\/e2f52913-8191-43ad-a1d7-807025fd9ec0-edited.jpg 473w, https:\/\/icoprevencio.cat\/uct\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2021\/06\/e2f52913-8191-43ad-a1d7-807025fd9ec0-edited-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 473px) 100vw, 473px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Amalia, physician and master of public health, has developed her research for three years within the framework of the TackSHS project, an EU-funded project led by the Tobacco Control Unit.
