Olena Tigova<\/strong>, investigadora predoctoral de la UCT, present\u00f3 recientemente actualizaciones del proyecto adaptado Hogares sin Humo en Catalu\u00f1a al equipo original del proyecto en la Universidad de Emory<\/strong>. El Emory Prevention Research Center (EPRC), que forma parte de la Rollins School of Public Health de la Universidad de Emory (Atlanta, Estados Unidos), desarroll\u00f3 y prob\u00f3 originalmente esta intervenci\u00f3n basada en la evidencia en varios entornos para promover hogares sin humo entre las familias. En 2022, la intervenci\u00f3n se adapt\u00f3 al contexto catal\u00e1n y, desde 2023, investigadores de la UCT lideran un estudio para evaluar su eficacia en Catalu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Como coordinadora local del proyecto Hogares sin Humo, Olena Tigova est\u00e1 realizando actualmente una estancia de investigaci\u00f3n en el EPRC bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de la profesora Michelle Kegler<\/strong>. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n ofrece la oportunidad de intercambiar experiencias en la aplicaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n de la intervenci\u00f3n en diferentes contextos, explorar posibles colaboraciones futuras y trabajar en varios manuscritos.
