Luis Alejandro es un investigador con m\u00e1s de ocho a\u00f1os de experiencia en investigaci\u00f3n en salud p\u00fablica, tanto en el \u00e1mbito acad\u00e9mico como en proyectos espec\u00edficos. Posee un doctorado en Atenci\u00f3n Integrada y Servicios de Salud por la Universidad de Lleida (2025). Su investigaci\u00f3n doctoral se centr\u00f3 en la inseguridad alimentaria y los determinantes sociales de la salud entre los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas temporales en Espa\u00f1a. <\/p>\n\n
Cuenta con amplia experiencia en investigaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos mixtos y ha publicado m\u00e1s de nueve art\u00edculos indexados en JCR en los campos de estudios sobre alimentaci\u00f3n, migraci\u00f3n, salud ambiental y epidemiolog\u00eda. Sus principales intereses de investigaci\u00f3n incluyen los determinantes sociales de la salud, la migraci\u00f3n y la promoci\u00f3n de la salud. En 2026, Luis Alejandro se incorpor\u00f3 a la Unidad de Control del Tabaco del ICO como gestor de proyectos del proyecto PIECES, una iniciativa financiada por la Uni\u00f3n Europea orientada a desarrollar, evaluar y difundir una herramienta que apoye la implementaci\u00f3n de programas de prevenci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer.
