
Jassia Zafar
Pre/postdoctoral researcher
Graduated in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Barcelona (UB) and Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Nutrition, Chronic Diseases and Healthy Aging from the same university. She has acquired practical experience in the clinical field at the HM Delfos Hospital, in nutritional consulting at CESNUT and in carrying out a clinical study in the Polyphenols Research Group, where she studied the effects of peanut consumption on various health parameters in adolescents.
Jassia joins the Tobacco Control Unit (UCT) to begin her doctorate, contributing to the PIECES project, which focuses on the implementation and evaluation of cancer prevention interventions throughout Catalonia.
