Dr. Cristina Martínez , head of the Tobacco Control Unit (UCT) of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), has recently participated in an initiative by the NGO Más que Ideas , aimed at promoting smoke-free spaces and reducing the prevalence of tobacco consumption.
Within the framework of this collaboration, Dr. Martínez highlights the need to continue advancing public health policies that protect citizens from exposure to environmental smoke and that promote safer and healthier environments.
