Graduated in Nursing from the University of Barcelona (UB, 1990) and in Oncological Nursing (UB-ICO, 2004). She has worked as a nurse at the ICO since 1991, first in the Onco-hematology Service, and since 2009 with full dedication to the smoking consultation of the Tobacco Control Unit. As a nurse, she is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of the smoking cessation process of patients and professionals at the ICO (and companies in its environment).

In addition to her healthcare activity, she has been teaching health promotion workshops on tobacco for patients and their families since 2003 and is a member of the “Smoke-Free Hospital” Committee of the ICO Hospitalet. She has collaborated on different research projects and scientific articles, and is a professor on the Master’s Degree in Oncological Nursing (ICO-UB-UVic).
