Throughout her professional career, she has worked as a research assistant at USF and also as a neurological physiotherapist at the Cerebral Palsy Association (ASPACE). Her main research interests include social determinants of health, behavioral change, implementation sciences, and global health.

Graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Valladolid, she received a Fulbright Scholarship in August 2021 to complete the Master’s Degree in Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of South Florida (USF), in the United States. Since January 2024, she has worked as a project manager in the Tobacco Control Unit (UCT).
