In 2000, she worked in the Department of Health Psychology at Royal Holloway University of London within the diabetes research group, collaborating on various scientific projects and in questionnaire translations. For five years of her professional career, she has provided psychological therapy to adults with mental disorders from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, providing support in smoking cessation processes.

In 2012 he joined the Tobacco Control Unit of the Catalan Institute of Oncology where she carries out technical coordination in the Catalan Network of Smoke-Free Hospitals, participating in specific working groups, design, implementation and coordination of programs, as well as communication activities.

Her main area of ​​research is tobacco control, specifically in the regulation of smoke-free spaces, monitoring the prevalence of tobacco use among healthcare professionals and evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions to quit smoking.

Her scientific contribution includes several articles and communications at national and international conferences and seminars.

At the international level, she has developed the technical coordination of the Global Network for Tobacco Free Healthcare Services. She has participated in working groups to update assessment tools, in the organization and coordination of the GOLD Forum international accreditation process and as a member of the jury of this process. She is currently a member of the working groups of the Global Network board, and has been its vice president since 2019.
