Ayaka is a predoctoral researcher. She is currently pursuing her PhD in the Tobacco Control Unit, under the supervision of Prof. Fernández and Dr. Martínez. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Imperial College London. Her main research interest is in measuring the burden of smoking and evaluating tobacco control policies to contribute to reducing the burden of smoking at the population level.
