The Tobacco Control Unit (UCT) had the opportunity to promote the ” Smoke-Free Homes ” project at the Festa de la Pública , an event organized by the Student Family Associations (AFAs) of the Federated Association of Student Families of Catalonia (aFFaC).
The project, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention to create smoke-free homes in households with children, recruits participants through these associations, which play a key role in promoting well-being among families. Olena Tigova and Isabel Barroso were able to promote the project among different AFAs in Catalonia and encourage them to participate.
